While no related illnesses have been reported, several varieties of Nature Made vitamins and dietary supplements have been recalled due to possible contamination of micro-organisms which could include Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, yeast, and mold.
The recall was announced by Pharmavite LLC and on Tuesday, Giant Food announced that it voluntarily pulled the impacted supplement varieties from its shelves. The possible contamination affects select Nature Made adult multi-vitamin and hair, skin, and nail gummy chews, Vitamin D and Super B Complex supplements.
